There is currently a lack of understanding of the different Electric VTOL aircraft architectures, and the safety consequence in selecting a given architecture to achieve certain performance objectives.

This project aims to inform Electric VTOL aircraft design through the development and optimisation of a controlled descent method following a total loss in thrust.
